Year 8 Camp 2013

What I am looking forward to when we go to camp, is all the teamwork that we will all have to participate in, and contributing with others. Including others into your group even if you don't really like them, you can get to know them well. Having an equal participation with everyone around you. Spending quality time with my friends. Making memories with my friends that will last forever.

My feelings for when we go to camp is extremely a high number because we are going to spend quality time with each other, and making good memories with my friends and others around me.  Becoming a family while we are out on camp.

My friends are Lua, Romeo, Unique, Joan, Khylie and Mei. They are amazing, they are like the stars always shine bright at night, they are always there for me through my ups and downs especially Lua.

Year 8 camp 2013.

THERE IS NO ‘I’ IN TEAM!
A lot of what we do on camp involves team work.  What makes a great team?  What are the characteristics of a great team person and their leaders? List your thoughts below ‘wordle’ styles:
  • They think about others.
  • Respect others.
  • Family.
  • Leadership.
  • Equal participation.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Include others.
  • Co-operation.
  • Team players
  • Contribution.
  • Treat others how you want to be treated.
  • Encouragement.
  • Positive behaviour.
  • No put downs.
  • Don’t be selfish.
  • Ownership.
  • Communication.
  • Love
  • Manners
  • Responsibility.
  • Physical contact
  • Be mature
  • Confidence.

This was one of our task we have completed. We have used all our knowledge that we could think of. What makes a great team. This is a list that I have thought of.
