The biggest jump competition ever

The Extreme Jump.

It was almost time to begin the biggest jump competition ever. As Bella sat at the top of the humongous ramp. She looked down at the deep, deep drop below and the dusty, rocky ground surrounding the ramp. Her heart was pounding with fear because no one in the world had ever attempted to do this stunt.

All around her the dirt bike tracks were dusty and hot . All around her there were people staring at her. All around her there were riders who already knew that Bella would beat them today.  But Bella didn’t know how they were feeling. She looked back at them and felt nervous. She wasn’t nervous about the other riders. All she was thinking about was how she was going to land the bike after her stunt.

The Judges counted down from 5,4,3,2,1 GO! Then Bella blazed off like a cheetah. She zoomed down the deep drop below and came up to the top of the ramp…. Then she flew up into the sky. Bella couldn’t hear any thing at all except for the screaming of her engine. She did her big stunt in the air and started to come back down. She was scared because she still wasn’t sure how she will land.
It felt like she was coming down slowly. Then the bike landed safely.  Bella yelled with excitement and saw her mum and family cheering. She had won the Extreme Jump Challenge and was world champion!

My Beautiful Place

Far beyond the edge of the world is my beautiful place...

Aitutaki. I could see beautiful bright clear water with beautiful clear scaly fish swimming around. I could see light brown coconuts falling from tall coconut trees. When I looked ahead of me I could see a beautiful sunset looking right at me.

I could hear waves smashing in together as it got to shore. I could hear booming coconuts falling from the tall coconut tree as the wind went blowing past. As I walked by I could hear doors opening and shutting.

As I felt the breezy beautiful clear water, it was warm. The touch of a nice smooth coconut tree gave me the shivvers. A touch of a beautiful brown house that feels like flax. As I felt the coconut it had rough roundness.

As I walked by a smoothie store I could taste the juicy coconut. I could taste the wind that was going by. When I was walking by I could taste the sad that was washed by. I could taste the coconut dessert people were making.

I could smell fresh coconut while I walked by. I could smell the nice fresh clear fresh water and the sand that got washed back to shore by the big waves. I could smell the fish in the fresh clear water.

This beautiful place will exist for ever in my mind and heart. I hope you get to visit my beautiful place one day.

Doing the haka like a furious angry lion. He has got Maori tattoos on his arms.He has a beard and he looks like a furious man when doing the haka.He looks good in his All Black jersey number 9.

Did you know that Piri Weepu shaved his beard and put it on trade me to get money and give it to charity for this little girl who had a brain tube.He is a good athlete because he leads the Haka for the all blacks.

When he is in action he is playing for his country (New Zealand) and he’s making us proud for who he is.
