Birthday wishes.

Yesterday on the 20th of April it was my little cousins birthday,we celebrated at chipmunks she is 1 now. It was a great start for my holidays and hope many and many amazing things will happen during my holidays.

My Ancestral Poetry.

Bella is my name 12 is my age and 8 is my year in school.

I am a cook island female

rising from the horizon of the sunset

where I meet my ancestors.

I can hear the echo of my ancestors calling out to me one by one,

the smell of the sun burning them as it sets for sunset.

I can feel the wind rushing up against me suddenly goose bumps appear all up my arm.

I could see my ancestors standing in a line.

Our drums echo ancestral heartbeats.

In the future may my ancestors be proud of me or proud of what I have done to get there.

I take my ancestors with me wherever I may be whatever I may be doing.

You need to have speaking skills. We got to chose what we wanted to be when we grow up. We got to learn about many aspirations Be prepared for the future you don’t know what is coming for you. You really need people skills and language skills. Meeting Mr Eastwood who is a manager for a magazine factorie. We get to learn about many aspirations. We will start thinking that what we want to do in our life. Everyone makes mistakes that you can learn from. We get to learn about our dream jobs and who is our inspiration. You need people skills. You’ll need sport skills if you want to be a sporty girl or a sporty man. If you want to chase your dreams don’t be afraid to go after it.	We didn't get to meet a lot of people that we wanted to meet. You might think you are not good enough for anything. We’re still young therefore we might change our minds about what we want to be in the future. We might not be confident enough to do the job. Some people are not honest Not knowing what you want to be Most adolescence might not know what they want to be in the future. Sometimes you won’t achieve your future job I wish I thought more about what I wanted to be when I grow up more than being an air hostess.	I didn’t know till now that you can’t get the job you want straight away when you want it. You have to have a backup job just incase you get kicked out. You need NCEA level 1 to become a policeman or women. I didn’t know that if you have a good knowledge of nursing or health care .So flight attendants used to be nurses back when flight attendants were first introduced. Heinrich Kubis was the first person to be a flight attendant + hes a male. I didn’t know that if you're a flight attendants, your family can have a free flight and can travel anywhere.

PMI Reflection

Positives

You really need people skills to understand what people are trying to tell you and you also need to have speaking skills and know many different languages so just incase someone in a different language don’t know how to speak english or even understand english.

Minuses

We didn't really get to meet a lot of people we dreamed of being when we get older. And also people not knowing what they want to be when they grow up and maybe don’t know what they will have in the future.

Interesting

Most of us didn't know that you can’t get a job you want straight away when you want it. And also if you want to be an flight attendance when you grow up, your family can have a free flight and can travel anywhere.
